Bryan Nakata has a diverse work experience in marketing, production, and media. In 2020, they began working as a Marketing Manager, Marketing Specialist, and Marketing Coordinator for Hyperproof (all remote roles). In 2021, they joined the Advisory Board of the Tombolo Institute at Bellevue College Design Thinking Program. In 2019, they were a Digital Video Intern for the Seattle Seahawks, a Production Assistant Intern for Vulcan Inc., and a New Media Producer for the University of Washington. In 2016, they were a Street Team Digital Media Producer for the Seattle Seahawks and a Creative and Administrative Intern for CBS Corporation. In 2015, they were a New Media Producer for the Sam E. Kelly Cultural Center.
Bryan Nakata attended Pullman High School from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their high school diploma. Bryan then studied Spanish Language and Literature at Universidad de León until 2017. Finally, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Journalism from the University of Washington in 2019. In addition, Bryan has obtained several certifications, including "Learn the fundamentals of sponsored ads" from Amazon in October 2021, "Advanced Google Analytics" from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) in January 2022, and "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) in July 2019.
