Sam Hampton's work experience begins in 1997 as an Internet Specialist/Territory Manager at AT&T. From 1998 to 2004, they served as the Executive Director of Sales at Triton PCS. Then, from 2004 to 2008, they worked as the Director of Marketing at Advance Auto Parts, where they successfully implemented digital and e-commerce strategies resulting in significant revenue growth.
In 2008, Sam joined Cox Communications, initially as the Vice President of Sales for the residential market segment, and later as the Director of Cox Business, where they developed and executed business plans to expand the customer base. Sam played a key role in enhancing the customer experience and selling various telecommunications services.
In 2012, Sam transitioned to Carter Machinery, where they served as the Director of Marketing, leading the digital and data revolution by spearheading the development of the first dealer business intelligence environment. Sam later became the Vice President of Marketing, utilizing their expertise in digital marketing and data analytics to generate high-quality leads and improve conversion rates.
In 2016, Sam launched Foundry26, a software, data, and marketing development agency that they served as President. Sam conceptualized and launched a portfolio of data-driven software and marketing products, built a multi-disciplinary team, and defined the strategic vision and operational framework for the company.
In 2018, Sam co-founded VizaLogix, an innovative company that provides SaaS solutions using Augmented Reality remote support and real-time production studies, among other services. The company was created through the merger of Tethr It and SiteVantage. Sam served as the Co-Founder and played a crucial role in establishing the brand and delivering the company's vision to the market.
Most recently, in 2023, Sam joined XAPT Corporation as the President Americas and Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. XAPT is a worldwide provider of ERP solutions and Sam's responsibilities include driving value through software, consulting, implementation, and support services.
Sam Hampton attended Virginia Tech from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Marketing Management.
