Ing. Martin Vagas is an experienced Automation Engineer currently employed at ECT Rotterdam (Europe Container Terminals) since October 2021. Previously, Martin served as a Technical Specialist in Automation at APM Terminals from January 2020 to December 2020, and worked at ABB from April 2014 to December 2019, focusing on Industrial Automation and Drives. Earlier in their career, Martin was involved in Electrical Engineering at Janssen Elektrotechnik, dealing with electric power installations and switchboards for crane systems. Academically, Martin holds an Engineer's degree in Electric Power Engineering from the Technical University of Kosice, obtained between 2011 and 2013, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution, earned from 2008 to 2011.
