Amber Shand MBCS is a Software Engineer at Skyscanner since July 2023, also serving as Founder & Community Lead of Amber Bytes Back, a supportive community for Gen Z and millennial women in tech with over 2,200 newsletter subscribers. Amber provides expert guidance as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consultant for Hustle Crew and holds an ambassador role with Women Techmakers. Previous experience includes positions at Code First Girls as a Brand Ambassador and Python Instructor, a podcast co-host at Glowing in Tech, as well as front-end engineering at CybSafe and an early career role at American Express. Amber's educational background features a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the University of Leicester.
