Maddie Feaster is an accomplished habitat restoration project manager at Riverkeeper, overseeing budgets, grants, and project plans for habitat restoration, fish passage, and dam removal projects in the Hudson River Valley since November 2022. Prior to this role, Maddie served as an advocacy community organizer at Scenic Hudson, Inc., where engagement in advocacy campaigns and development of outreach strategies were key responsibilities. Experience also includes a policy intern position at Friends of the San Juans, where Maddie conducted regulatory reviews and presented research findings to enhance shoreline management, and a legislative intern role at Riverkeeper focused on supporting environmental legislation. Early career experience includes a staff assistant position at Pace University and a machinery technician role with the U.S. Coast Guard, where Maddie managed engineering projects and budgets. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Environmental Policy from Pace University and a Bachelor of Arts in Adolescence Education-History from St. Joseph's University New York.
