Lukas Blumberg is a PhD candidate in Molecular Plant Biology at Wageningen University & Research, with a strong academic background in biotechnology. Lukas has completed a Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, both from Wageningen University & Research. Practical experience includes a current role as a Graduate Student Scientist at Hudson River Biotechnology, focusing on single-cell regeneration of CRISPR-edited Nicotiana benthamiana protoplasts, as well as previous research on CRISPR-MAD7 induced DSB repair. Prior experience includes a B.Sc. thesis on the role of PTL2 in root stem cell regeneration. Academic performance is demonstrated through grades ranging from 8/10 to 9/10 in various projects.
