Luiz Stark Aroeira is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the field of immunology and related scientific disciplines. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica HULP since October 2016, Luiz previously held the position of Senior Researcher at University of Vigo from March 2013 to October 2016. Luiz's research history includes significant roles at Instituto de Investigación Hospital Universitario La Paz, focusing on fibrosis and peritoneal dialysis, and contributions to molecular biology at Hospital de la Princesa and Centro de Biologia Molecular. Additionally, Luiz led the immunology department at Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares and served as a teacher in immunology at both UNICID and Universidade Federal Fluminense. Luiz holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Immunology, alongside a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology, all from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
