Koy Saeteurn is an experienced professional in analytical sciences with a strong background in CAR T cell research and development. Currently serving as Associate Director at Allogene Therapeutics since September 2018, Koy leads a team in analytical operations focused on CAR T potency and safety testing, while also optimizing data collection processes. Previous roles include Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at Allogene Therapeutics, and a Contract Bench Scientist at Atrium Staffing, where Koy assisted in the development of analytical assays for CAR T cell drug production. Koy's extensive research experience includes positions at Ardelyx, Inc., UCSF, and the Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute, culminating in a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UCSF. Early academic work involved genetic interaction studies at UC Berkeley's Plant Gene Expression Center.
