Danyang Tian is a Senior Scientist at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. since April 2021, specializing in the design and development of innovative connected and automated vehicle applications, with a focus on evaluating their system-wide effectiveness regarding safety, mobility, and environmental sustainability. Previously, Danyang Tian served as a Research Engineer at Honda R&D Americas, LLC from February 2019 to March 2021 and worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Environmental Research & Technology, UC Riverside from September 2015 to December 2018. Danyang Tian holds a Ph.D. candidate in Intelligent Transportation Systems from the University of California, Riverside and has completed a master's degree in Wireless Communication Engineering from Harbin Engineering University, as well as an exchange master's in Information and Communication Engineering from The University of Electro-Communications.
