Vasun Subanake serves as the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Operational Excellence at HMC Polymers Company Limited since July 2021. Previous roles include General Manager of BMP Liaison and GM Refining at Bahrain Petroleum Company from March 2018 to June 2021 and Special Project Manager at Chevron from July 2016 to June 2017. Vasun also held the position of Lytton Refinery Manager at Caltex Lytton Refineries from June 2013 to March 2016 and Deputy CEO-Operations at Star Petroleum Refining Company Limited from May 2009 to June 2013, focusing on technical operations and maintenance for optimal refinery performance. Earlier experience includes serving as Business Improvement Leader for the East Region at Shell Eastern Petroleum from January 2006 to April 2009, enhancing refinery business performance across multiple domains. Vasun holds a Master's degree in Computer and Engineering Management from ABAC University/KMIT.
