Charles Yuhas has extensive experience in quality control and inspection within the manufacturing and construction industries. Currently serving as Manager 2 Test Inspection at Newport News Shipbuilding since 2020, Charles has also held positions as QC Specialist at Roberts and ASMO North Carolina Inc., where responsibilities included calibration of measuring equipment and CMM work. Previous roles include Quality Analyst Sr. at General Dynamics Elec Boat, where expertise in radiographic film interpretation was developed, and teaching positions as Composition and Research Instructor at Pitt Community College and Composition Instructor at East Carolina University. Charles began career work as a General Construction employee at The Roberts Company, contributing in various roles. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
