Viktor Tanyi is a Senior Software Engineer at Hiya Inc. since March 2021, specializing in backend systems design and implementation using Scala, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka. Prior to this role, Viktor served as a Software Developer at Gizmodo Media Group from August 2017 to February 2021, focusing on backend development for the content management system, Scala microservices, and a Flow-typed JavaScript codebase. Viktor also worked at Lufthansa Systems Hungária from September 2015 to August 2017, where responsibilities included Java 8 development on Spring web applications and issue analysis. Viktor began the career as a Teaching Assistant at Eötvös Loránd University from September 2014 to June 2015, instructing MSc students in Haskell and Clean, and completed an internship in software development at Senso Media Zrt in July 2012. Viktor holds a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Eötvös Loránd University.
