Kaushik Lakshmikanth has worked in the software engineering field since 2011. Kaushik began their career at Atos as an Intern, where they developed an Android application called CityScout. In 2013, they joined Cisco as a Software Engineer and an Intern, where they were part of the Cisco Commerce IT team and involved in full stack web development. Kaushik was also one of the main frontend developers involved in revamping the UI for the Commerce tool. In 2015, Kaushik joined Amazon Web Services as an SDE Intern, where they worked on Amazon's recently released Business Intelligence product - QuickSight. Kaushik also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University and a Researcher at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in the same year. In 2016, Kaushik joined Twitter as a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer, helping make twitter.com a little better each day. Currently, Kaushik is a Senior Software Engineer at Highnote.

Kaushik Lakshmikanth obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from RV College of Engineering between 2009 and 2013. Kaushik then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Computer Science at The Ohio State University, which they completed in 2016.
