Aakash Shah

Co-Founder & CEO at High Time Foods

Aakash Shah has a diverse range of work experience. Aakash is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of High Time Foods, a position they started in March 2021.

Prior to that, they co-founded Wok Hospitality in 2017 and served as a Partner. Wok Hospitality operates two brands, The Wok Box Co. and That Waffle Place!, with multiple locations in Chennai. The company has expanded through the franchise model.

In 2020, Aakash worked as a Research Fellow at The Good Food Institute India and as a Research Assistant at Babson College. At Babson College, they assisted Prof. Jerome Tailard in financial research, analyzing historical financial statements for soccer clubs in various treatment and control groups.

Before that, Aakash held roles at Zomato and Practo in 2014. At Zomato, they worked as a Key Account Manager, Senior Sales Manager, and Sales Manager, helping restaurants market themselves through advertising campaigns. At Practo, they were a Territory Manager, responsible for generating leads and closing deals for clinics to advertise on the platform.

In 2014, Aakash also had a role as an Operations Management Trainee at Featherlite, where they implemented lean manufacturing processes and identified and resolved bottlenecks in the chair assembling factory.

Overall, Aakash has gained experience in co-founding and managing businesses, conducting research, sales and key account management, and operations management.

Aakash Shah's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at Vellore Institute of Technology. Aakash pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed their studies in 2014.

After gaining their BTech degree, Aakash furthered their education by attending Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2019 to 2021. During this period, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

In addition to their formal education, Aakash Shah obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from KPMG India in November 2017.
