Norbert Schöfberger has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles in the technology industry. Norbert started their career in 1994 as a Project Manager in the Energy Industry, specializing in power plants. In 1997, they joined IBM as a Product Manager, later becoming a Manager for Network Solutions and Services. In 2001, they joined HP, where they held various roles including Sales Management, Director of the Personal Systems Group, and Managing Director for Austria. During their tenure at HP, they played a key role in the spinoff of HP Inc and the merger of the Enterprise Outsourcing business with CSC, forming DXC.
In 2015, Schöfberger moved to Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where they continued their leadership journey. Norbert served as the Managing Director for Austria before being promoted to Vice President roles, overseeing sales and customer success initiatives for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Russia. Norbert later took on global responsibilities as the Vice President for Infrastructure Services Sales and the Vice President for Global Operational Services Sales. Their work focused on driving profitable growth, digital transformation, and the transition to consumption-oriented business models. Schöfberger left HPE in 2023, after making valuable contributions to the company's strategy and growth.
Norbert Schöfberger attended Technische Universität Wien from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained a Dipl. Ing. degree in Allgemeiner Maschinenbau. Additionally, they have a certification in ITIL Basis V3 from TÜV AUSTRIA.
