John Kovacs is an experienced Project Manager with a comprehensive background in managing automotive projects from initial quotes to OEM launch. At HELLA since September 2012, John oversees projects including Rain Light Sensors and pedals, emphasizing Quality, Cost, and Timing (QCT) while adhering to APQP standards. Prior to HELLA, John served as Project Manager at SPX FLOW, Inc. from January 1995 to September 2012, leading various projects for major OEMs such as Ford, Chrysler, VW, GM, Rolls-Royce, and BMW. John's career began as a Prototype Technician at Technical Engineering Consulting in 1994, where John monitored prototype engine data. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology from Washtenaw Community College.
