Cees Raaijmakers has extensive experience in leadership and economic roles within the healthcare sector. Since March 1985, Cees Raaijmakers has served as CEO of Heliomare, contributing significantly to the organization. Prior to this, Cees Raaijmakers held positions in the Nationale Ziekenhuisraad from November 1978 to February 1985 in the Department of Economics, and as a policy officer at Ziekenfondsraad from November 1976 to November 1978. Cees Raaijmakers earned a degree in economics (drs.) from Katholieke Universiteit Brabant, where studies took place from 1969 to 1975.
