Chad Federwitz, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Services Manager for Pitkin County since May 2016, overseeing operations and collaborating with various stakeholders to advocate for older adults. In addition to this role, Chad is an adjunct instructor in the Human Services Department at both Colorado Mountain College and the University of Northern Colorado, teaching courses such as Human Growth and Development and Perspectives on Aging. Furthermore, Chad holds the position of Chair and Vice-Chair at the Colorado Commission on Aging, representing organizations that provide services to older adults and conducting studies on related issues. Prior experience includes serving as an adjunct instructor in Gerontology at Colorado Mesa University and as a chaplain and Life Enrichment Director at Balfour Cherrywood Village.
