Dave McCandless is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of IT and Global Infrastructure at Guardant Health since August 2019, McCandless also contributes as a Board Member for Heligenics and as a member of the Executive Advisory Board for Yagna iQ Inc. Previous positions include Vice President of IT at Navis, where McCandless focused on global infrastructure and product lifecycle management, and co-founder of the BayICT Partnership, aimed at cultivating a diverse tech workforce. Additional advisory roles include involvement with the Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreneurship Institute at Washington State University and the Fisher CIO Leadership Program at UC Berkeley. McCandless holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Washington State University.
