Mike Hernandez has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent role was as a Program Manager at Helicon Chemical Company, a position they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Eduworks Corporation from August 2021 to April 2023, holding the positions of Director of Business Development and Program Manager, where they were responsible for coordinating and supporting various activities related to Eduworks solutions. Mike's earlier experience includes working at Naval Air Systems Command as a Systems Engineer from August 2012 to November 2017. Their responsibilities included creating training capabilities for the US Navy and extensive development of intelligent tutoring systems.
Mike also worked at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) as an Electronics Engineer from August 2010 to August 2012, focusing on network design and installation. Prior to that, they worked briefly as an Electrical Engineer at BlackBerry from January to June 2010.
Mike's career began in the US Army, where they served as a Specialist from August 2001 to February 2005.
Mike Hernandez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Mike also received a Certificate in Systems Engineering Level 2 from Defense Acquisition University and a Certificate in Program Management Level 1 from the same institution.
