Angela Fix has a diverse work experience in the field of public health. Angela is currently working as the Director of Scientific & Committee Documents at the Heart Rhythm Society since February 2021. Previously, from January 2021 to February 2021, they served as the Senior Scientific Director at Health & Wellness Partners, LLC. Angela also worked as the Founder and CEO of FiX from January 2016 to December 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Lead Scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton from October 2008 to January 2016, where they managed research projects for the military. Angela also served as the Director of Public Health Informatics at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) from November 2005 to October 2008. Angela started their career as an Epidemiologist at the Florida Department of Health from October 2003 to June 2005. Angela gained experience as a Research Assistant/Intern at the County of San Diego from June 2002 to June 2003. Angela also worked as a Microbiologist at JONES GROUP from October 1998 to June 2001, where they were involved in pathogenic bacterial surveillance and antimicrobial testing projects.

Angela Fix, MPH, MWC has an extensive education history. Angela obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, attending from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from San Diego State University-California State University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2003.

In addition to their academic achievements, Angela Fix has also acquired several certifications. Angela obtained the certification of Medical Writer Certified from the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) in December 2020. In July 2019, they completed the course "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" offered by LinkedIn. Furthermore, in August 2008, they completed the AMIA 10x10 program provided by the American Medical Informatics Association.
