Kazuaki Matsuo's work experience starts in 2011 at ACCESS, where they worked as a Junior Software Engineer, primarily focusing on software development and quality assurance. In 2013, they became a Project Manager and Server Side Engineer, responsible for system architecture and network/server architecture. Kazuaki also collaborated with Korean colleagues and served as a team leader for the projects. Kazuaki joined Cookpad in 2014, initially as a Test/Automation Engineer and later as a Lead Software Test Engineer/Test Automation. Kazuaki established the role of a test engineer and worked on mobile development, productivity, and test automation. In 2017, they transferred to Cookpad's international team, based in Bristol, UK, as a Lead Software Engineer in Quality/Automation. The team was diverse and focused on regions outside of Japan. In 2018, Kazuaki joined HeadSpin as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in Device Automation. Currently, they hold the role of Principal Software Engineer at HeadSpin.
Kazuaki Matsuo earned a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and a Master of Information Science from Hiroshima City University. Kazuaki also obtained the Foundation Level certification from JSTQB in 2012, the Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination from IPA in 2010, and the Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination from IPA in 2007.
