Nika Tarr has extensive experience in safety and environmental health, currently serving as Safety Manager at Hawaii Gas since January 2022. Prior to this role, Nika worked as a Training Specialist at Covanta and held the position of EH&S Manager at Lendlease. Nika's career also includes roles as Safety Specialist III for the City and County of Honolulu and Environmental Health Specialist IV for the State of Hawaii. Early career experiences feature positions such as Instructor of General Studies at SBBCollege and Quality Assurance/Microbiologist at HIE Holdings Inc. Nika holds a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health/Environmental Management from Columbia Southern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Biology from the University of New England. Additionally, Nika has pursued further education at the OSHA Technical Institute since 2012.
