Karthi Santhanam is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Lead HSE Advisor at Energy Development Corporation since March 2022, Karthi previously held the position of General Manager - HSE Operations and Strategy at DRA Global, leading a team of 30 HSE professionals for projects valued at $450 million. Prior experience includes significant roles at Santos Ltd, where responsibilities spanned from managing health and safety technical services to implementing strategic initiatives, and at BHP Billiton, focusing on metallurgical production planning and hazardous materials management. Karthi holds an MBA from the University of South Australia, a Master's degree in Applied Sciences from Flinders University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Process Engineering from Bharathidasan University.
