Toby Harper is the Founder and CEO of Harper James, a pioneering full-service commercial law firm established in May 2014. Currently a member of Helm (formerly The Supper Club) since January 2023, Toby previously served as in-house Corporate Solicitor at Midven, where involvement included acting as sole legal counsel to an investment team managing £61 million in venture capital funds. Prior experience includes working as a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor at Shakespeares, providing legal services to a diverse client base, and serving as a Business Mentor for The Prince's Trust, offering guidance to young entrepreneurs. Toby's career in corporate law was initiated at Hawkins Hatton LLP, focusing on transactional work, and educational qualifications include a Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Birmingham, and an LLB in Law and Business Studies from Swansea University.
