Tommy Andersson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tommy is currently working as a Lead Software Developer at HaleyTek AB since February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Developer at Acorn Technology AB from October 2019 to February 2023. Tommy also worked as a Software Developer at ALTEN Sweden from March 2018 to September 2019.

Before their roles in the software industry, Tommy gained experience in applied research as an Applied Researcher at Fraunhofer-Chalmers Centre for Industrial Mathematics from September 2015 to February 2018. Tommy was responsible for software and algorithm development for a multi-physics simulation application.

Tommy also has experience in method development and project management. Tommy worked as a Method Development Engineer at Rolls-Royce AB from April 2014 to August 2015, where they developed software and algorithms for marine propulsion systems. Additionally, they served as a Graduate trainee - Engineering Professional Excellence at Rolls-Royce AB from September 2012 to April 2014, where they managed projects and implemented PLM software for engineering collaboration.

In 2010, Tommy worked as a Summer student at CERN, where they conducted research and developed instrumentation for next-generation LHC detectors. Tommy also gained experience in verification engineering at Ericsson AB from September 2008 to January 2010, where they performed performance and functional verification of radio-link equipment.

Tommy's earlier experiences include working as a lifeguard at Åbybadet from December 2005 to January 2010, a sanitation worker at Renhållningen from June 2007 to December 2009, and a transport squad leader in the Swedish Armed Forces from June 2005 to April 2006.

Tommy Andersson received their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Applied physics and Engineering physics from Chalmers University of Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. During their time at Chalmers, they also embarked on an exchange program and spent a year at ETH Zürich in 2010 to 2011, focusing on Physics.
