Umar Shariff is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in both the education and technology sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of Halsimplify Solutions Private Limited since June 2014, Umar has focused on enhancing ERP systems for businesses and educational institutions. In addition, Umar founded Deeds For My Grave, a non-profit dedicated to sustainable community development, and previously co-founded Illume Academy, which emphasizes youth empowerment through value education and leadership skills. Umar has held directorial positions at United India International School and Unity Group of Schools, where responsibilities included establishing educational systems and guiding teams towards strategic goals. Additionally, Umar founded Words Arabic Academy to teach Arabic to non-Arabs using innovative methods. Umar's earlier experience includes a programming role at Cognizant Technology Solutions. Umar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology and a BAIS from Knowledge International University.
