Dominic O’rume's work experience includes being the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of VOREM from January 2018 to present. Dominic also worked as a Digital Project Manager/Business Analyst at DIGITAL BANANA TECHNOLOGY UK from May 2017 to January 2018. Before that, they were an Online Affiliate Marketer/Logistics/Technical Manager at Charles granville Company from March 2016 to January 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a CSR/Roamer at MTN from August 2015 to January 2018. Dominic also had experience as a Manager, Sales Supervisor, and Engineering Technician at Okedom Global Services from July 2015 to January 2018. Before that, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Federal medical center lokoja from an unknown start date to January 2018. Dominic also had trainee and student roles at New horizon computer Nigeria from January 2011 to September 2013. Additionally, they had internships as an Electrical & Electronics Undergraduate at Sapele Power Plc from April 2013 to August 2013, and as an Undergraduate Intern focusing on Quality Assessment & Quality Control at Niger-Benue Transport Company (NBTC) Limited from February 2013 to March 2013.

Dominic O'Rume attended Covenant University from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During their time at Covenant University, they also obtained additional certifications from Cisco, including Networking+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Health, Safety, and the Environment (HSE), and Certificate in Leadership Development (CLD). In 2020, Dominic O'Rume earned the Certified Blockchain Architect certification from the Blockchain Council. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the Certified Metaverse Expert certification, also from the Blockchain Council.
