Matthias Braxatoris has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Matthias began their career as a Graduate Trainee at Coutts in 2001 and later joined Deloitte Switzerland as a Manager in Advisory and Audit Services from 2002 to 2011. Afterward, they worked at HNW Family Office AG as Secretary to the Chairman in 2012, and then joined Nordea Bank in 2013 as Director and Head of Reporting and Controlling. In 2019, Braxatoris moved to Remaco AG, where they served as Head of Finance and Controlling/Corporate Finance until 2020, when they were promoted to CFO and a member of the Executive Management. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Group Consolidation and Reporting at Habib Bank AG Zurich since May 2023.

Matthias Braxatoris completed their education at various institutions. From 1994 to 2001, they attended WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), where they obtained a degree in Finance and Marketing, specifically a Mag.rer.soc.oec. degree. In 1998, Matthias Braxatoris participated in an exchange semester program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Later, from 2004 to 2008, they attended the Akademie für Wirtschaftsprüfung, where they earned a Swiss CPA degree.
