Donatas Jerominas has a diverse work experience spanning over two companies. Donatas started their career at UAB "Kitron" in 2004 as an Automated Inspection Engineer, where they were responsible for working with 3D automated optical inspection and 3D x-ray inspection machines. Donatas adapted their programs for manufacturing and also focused on improving the process efficiency. During this time, they also became a Certified IPC Trainer from 2005 to 2009.
In 2011, Donatas joined G&W Electric Co. as a Manufacturing Technician. Donatas performed continuous high current tests for switch-gears and maintained the production flow in the test area. Donatas was also responsible for troubleshooting and fixing issues to ensure a smooth production process. In 2012, they were promoted to the role of Manufacturing Team Leader, where they oversaw the production flow and managed the team in the test area.
In 2013, Donatas transitioned to the role of Switchgear Electrical Drafter at G&W Electric Co., where they contributed to the design and drafting of switch-gear controls. In 2015, they were promoted to the role of Electrical Design Engineer II. In this role, they designed switch-gear controls based on customer specifications and integrated electronic components. Donatas also provided technical support to manufacturing, pre-sales information to sales and marketing, and established standard design processes and products. Additionally, they focused on simplifying product designs to improve manufacturability and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Donatas Jerominas holds a Bachelor's degree in Science in Electronics Engineering and Management from Kaunas University of Technology, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a College diploma in Electronics Engineering from Siauliai Technical College, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. In August 2015, they obtained a certification in SEL 751, 751A Feeder Protection Relays from SEL University.
