Sherry Chai is an experienced technology professional specializing in software engineering and growth strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering for Growth at Gusto since September 2015, Sherry focuses on enhancing customer value through upsell, education, and retention activities, while also driving the company's impressive growth trajectory. Previously, Sherry held key engineering roles at ARRIS and Motorola, contributing to the design and implementation of advanced video encoding and transcoding systems. Sherry began the career with internships at Panasonic Hollywood Lab and Nokia. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
