Masashi Abe started their work experience in 2017 as a Japanese Interpreter at DigiPen Institute of Technology, where they were responsible for translating course instructions and communicating with instructors. Masashi also served as an Experience Coordinator, maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and contributing to the smooth flow of operations. In 2018, they worked as an Administrative Assistant, ensuring the smooth operation of classes and reporting to their superior. Masashi then became a Level Designer and Design Lead for a student team project called Soulcaster, where they maintained project consistency and encouraged cross-disciplinary mingling. In 2019, they took on the role of Lead Experience Coordinator, working with K-4 students, serving lunch, and managing other coordinators. Currently, they are a Junior Level Designer at Gunfire Games, beginning in 2022.
Masashi Abe pursued their tertiary education from 2018 to 2022 at DigiPen Institute of Technology. During this time, they achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design with a specialization in Game and Interactive Media Design.
