Nicole S. Fernandez-Sherpa serves as the Employee Engagement Manager for Culture and Inclusion at the Guggenheim Museum since August 2016. In this role, Nicole administers employee orientation programs, conducts exit interviews, develops DEAI strategies, and maintains employee metrics. Previous positions include Manager of Visitor Experience and Visitor Services Supervisor at The National September 11 Memorial and Museum, where management of daily operations and large teams was paramount. Nicole also contributed to the founding of various institutions, including the Jamaica Center for Art and Learning and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex. Academically, Nicole holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts and a BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design, complemented by coursework at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
