Robert Scofield has extensive work experience in the environmental industry. Robert began their career at TRW Environmental Division in 1979 as a Member of Technical Staff and worked there until 1982. Robert then joined ENVIRON as a Principal in 1985 and remained in this role until 2009. After that, they moved to Exponent where they served as a Principal and Center Director from 2009 to 2014. Currently, they are working at GSI Environmental Inc. as a Principal, a role they have held since 2014.

Robert Scofield has a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and doctorate in Environmental Health from UCLA, which they completed between 1971 and 1979. From 1982 to 1985, they pursued postdoctoral studies in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of California, Davis.
