Mel Zawdneh has extensive experience in IT operations and application development, currently serving as Senior Director of IT Operations and Application Support at GS1 Canada since November 2020. Previously, Mel held various senior roles at GS1 Canada from May 2004 to September 2020, including Senior Director, Application Development & Support, and Director, Application Development & Support. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Software Developer at Editek Consultants and a Software Developer at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mel Zawdneh holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Engineering School of Geneva, Switzerland, and is an honors graduate from The Institute for Computer Studies.
