Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in collaborative solution development for educational technologies. Since July 2010, Chris has been employed at SMART Technologies, where responsibilities have included developing hardware and firmware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior to this, Chris worked as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, contributing to the design and repair of educational devices, and served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting various engineering courses. Chris also has experience as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry harvester units. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
