Monique Maddox serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Descendants Truth & Reconciliation Foundation since July 2023, alongside roles as a Limited Partner at Gaingels, Tundra Ventures, and Groove Capital. Additionally, Monique is a member of Pipeline Angels, focusing on capital creation for women and non-binary femme social entrepreneurs. Monique has mentored founders in Techstars Farm to Fork and TechStars Minnesota Twins Accelerator programs. As the Founding Principal at Macrame Technologies, Monique has managed critical IT risk and business transformation processes. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Wells Fargo, and Fujitsu Global, where Monique contributed to IT improvements and project management. Monique holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University.
