Stefan Cegalis has been working in the IT field since 1999. From 1999 to 2012, they worked as a Consultant for UFI and a Sole Proprietor for Stefan Cegalis, LLC. From 2003 to 2012, they worked as a Technical Lead and Developer for GMO. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Lead Developer for Arrowstreet Capital, where they provided technical leadership for the Compliance team and led a pilot SOA project. Since 2013, they have been the Chief IT Architect for GridUnity (formerly Qado Energy).

Stefan Cegalis attended Phillips Academy from 1988 to 1991. Stefan then went on to receive a BA in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross in 1997.
