Ciro Romano has a strong background in research and development and technology leadership. Ciro is currently the CRDO (Chief R&D Officer) at Frontiere, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Sensoworks, starting in September 2022.

Earlier in their career, Romano served as the Research and Development Technical Director at GreenVulcano S.r.l. since 2008. Before that, they were the Chief Executive Officer and Technical Director, as well as a Co-Founder, at E@I Software from February 2001 onwards.

Romano also worked as a System Architect at Opera21 from January 1996 to 2001, and as a Researcher at CRIAI from May 1992 to May 1995.

Ciro Romano earned a Maturità Scientifica degree from Liceo Scientifico in 1985. From 1985 to 2001, they attended Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, where they obtained a degree in Ingegneria Elettronica.
