Haldis Toppen has an extensive work experience spanning across various organizations and roles. From 2018 onwards, they worked as the Director of Communications at Greenheart International, where they led and trained a team, oversaw communications benchmarks, and managed cultural and advocacy initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Employer Relations and Outreach, overseeing sales and marketing efforts for the Summer Work Travel department. Before that, they held the position of Work and Travel Cultural Outreach Manager, where they managed participant outreach and development, as well as created a cultural program. Haldis Toppen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Haldis also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Illinois Chicago, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they studied abroad at Saint Louis University - Madrid Campus in 2008, focusing on Communication and Spanish.
