Sean Waxman is an experienced strength coach and fitness professional currently serving as the Head Strength Coach at Bingham High School since January 2024. As the Utah State Director for the National High School Strength Coaches Association since September 2022, Sean also owns WAXMAN'S GYM, established in 2009. With a significant background in USA Weightlifting, Sean has held roles as an International Coach, Lead Instructor, and Board Member since 2008. Additionally, Sean was the Director of Strength Education at American Barbell from August 2022 to April 2024 and worked as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Utah Utes Football team in 2023. Prior experience includes Head Football Strength Coach at Bingham High School, ownership of Pure Strength, and roles as a Strength Coach for the Long Beach Ice Dogs and College of the Canyons. Sean holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from the State University of New York Cortland.
