Salma Nassar currently serves as Vice President of Research, Evaluation and Business Analytics at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Salma held various titles at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from September 2016 to July 2023, including Director and Senior Associate Director of Research Initiatives. Experience also includes serving as Manager of Beta Research and Projects at Evidence Action and a Consultant for the World Bank in 2013. Salma's earlier career includes significant roles at Meadowbrook Homes, Inc. and founding MidAmerica Granite & Marble. Salma holds a Master of International Development Policy from Georgetown University, an MBA in International Business from DePaul Driehaus College of Business, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from DePaul University. Additionally, participation in the Executive Program for Emerging Leaders at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business occurred in 2018.
