Thomas Tolley

Senior Thermal Research Engineer at Gradient

Thomas Tolley has worked in multiple roles and companies throughout their career. Thomas started their professional journey as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at NV Energy in 2015. Thomas then served as a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry at California Polytechnic State University from January 2014 to June 2015. Later, from February 2015 to June 2016, they assumed the role of a Mechanical Engineering Teaching Assistant at the same university.

In 2017, Thomas joined Universal Analyzers Inc as a Project Engineer and worked there until August 2018. Subsequently, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University from September 2018 to June 2020.

Presently, Thomas is working at Gradient as a Thermal Research Engineer. Thomas held the position of a Thermal Research Engineer from September 2020 to March 2022 and was promoted to a Senior Thermal Research Engineer in March 2022.

Thomas Tolley obtained their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2016. Thomas Tolley's education journey began at Robert McQueen High School, where they completed their high school education from 2008 to 2012.
