Hunter Luker started their work experience in 2016 as a Supervisor/Trainer at Edwards Painting and Contracting, where they managed and assisted with operations for painting 80 Walmarts throughout Texas. Hunter also communicated with Walmart management daily and trained multiple teams of workers to use the Service Channel GPS app.

In 2018, Hunter became a Web Development Intern at Yoodlize. Later that year, they worked on two projects as part of DevMountain Student Developers. The first project, Funday.com, was a Monday.com clone built with React, Redux, CSS, Node.js, Express, Massive, PostgreSQL, Auth0, Dragula, and Nodemailer. The second project, DOM Leaks, was a fully functional, mobile responsive website designed and hosted by Hunter. It allowed users to share secrets and tips for web development.

In 2019, Hunter worked as a Software Developer at Younique Products and built a native dating application called Ticketsfor2 as a React Native Developer at Solutionation LLC. Hunter also worked as a Mentor at DevMountain, where they were responsible for the development and success of students attending the immersive full stack web development course. Hunter provided one-on-one assistance, answered questions, clarified concepts, debugged code, and guided students during lectures and projects.

Hunter Luker attended Central Alabama Community College from 2014 to 2015, where they earned an Associates degree in Computer Science. In 2018, they attended Devmountain for a short duration to study Web Development.
