Evan Coady is an experienced economist currently serving as a Principal Officer in the Department of Public Expenditure NDP Delivery & Reform since December 2022. Prior to this role, Evan held positions including Public Policy Attaché at the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the OECD in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade from October 2018 to November 2022, and Assistant Principal - Economist at the Public Service Pay Commission and the Department of Education and Skills. Evan's career also includes roles as an economist in various departments, such as Transport, Tourism and Sport, and Public Expenditure and Reform, as well as serving as an Enterprise Policy Assistant Economist at Forfás. Academic achievements include an MSc in Economic Planning and Policy Evaluation (First Class Honors) and a B.Comm in Economics from the University of Galway.
