Sunipa Dev is a Senior Research Scientist at Google, a position held since January 2022, after serving as a Research Scientist. Prior to Google, Sunipa was an NSF Computing Innovation Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science from January 2021 to January 2022. A Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah from August 2016 to October 2020, Sunipa also gained experience as a Data Scientist Intern at Microsoft and as a Research Intern at Visa and the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. Sunipa's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science (Data Track) from the University of Utah and an Integrated BS-MS in Mathematics and Statistics from the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER), Kolkata.
