Sophia Llewelyn

Estate Project Manager - Sustainability at The Goodwood Group

Sophia Llewelyn began their work experience as a Waitress and Barmaid at THE BLACK BOY PUB LIMITED from August 2015 to November 2017, where they served drinks, restocked, served food, and completed cleaning tasks. Sophia then worked as a Waitress at The Woolpack Inn from July 2017 to November 2017, where they served drinks, took food orders, and managed the B&B rooms. Sophia also volunteered at the We the People's Film Festival in October 2018, screening environmental films and raising awareness of global damages.

In August 2018, Sophia volunteered at MAMA & Company as an artist liaison at the Wilderness festival, assisting the stage manager and ensuring artist requirements were met. Sophia continued their volunteering experience in February 2019 at the Brit Awards Limited, where they assisted with various tasks such as table waiting and guest assistance.

From June 2019 to September 2019, Sophia worked as an Events Operations Intern at Brand Events, handling staff and freelancer accommodations for Carfest North and Carfest South. Sophia then worked as a Sales Executive from October 2019 to June 2021, and as a Senior Commercial Coordinator from June 2021 to September 2022 at the same company.

Sophia also had experience in the catering industry, working as a Waitress and Kitchen Preparation staff at Makintosh Catering from July 2016 to October 2019. Their responsibilities included preparing food, serving meals and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction at government events and private parties.

Most recently, Sophia has been working as an Estate Project Manager - Sustainability at The Goodwood Group since June 2022. Their role involves managing sustainability projects within the estate.

During their self-employed period from November 2016 to July 2017, Sophia traveled to Australia and Southeast Asia to gain cultural knowledge and experience various events. Sophia also worked for an events company in Australia, assisting at music and sport events.

Sophia Llewelyn began their education in 2015 at Peter Symonds College, where they pursued A levels in Geography, English Literature, Psychology, and Biology. Sophia successfully completed their A levels in 2017. In 2018, they enrolled at The Event Academy and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Event Management for Marketing and Communications. Their field of study during this time was Event Management.
