Darryl Burton II is the Youth Programs Manager of Science & Service at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy since January 2022, focusing on educational initiatives for youth. Previous experience includes roles as a delivery driver for Amazon, where employment lasted from August 2021 to January 2022, and as an outdoor educator during a self-employed period from August 2020 to June 2021, designing a program to support distance learning for first graders. At Presidio Trust from January 2018 to May 2020, Darryl served as an environmental educator, creating learning opportunities for underserved youth, and as an ecological restoration intern, co-leading volunteer programs. Further experience includes coordination of high school interns at Climate Action Now!, installation service technician at MonkeyBrains, customer service roles at Lowe's, American Swim Academy, and AutoZone, and delivering groceries for Instacart. Darryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from California State University-Hayward, earned between 2008 and 2014.
