Terry Tingyuan Zhang is a Graduate Mining Engineer with diverse experience in the mining industry. Currently employed at GOLD FIELDS since June 2023, Terry has completed time in trucking and blast crew operations at Gruyere and is gaining underground experience at Granny Smith. Previously, Terry worked at Ramelius Resources Limited from February 2022 to June 2023, contributing to mine design and planning in the transition from open pit to underground mining. A vacation role at Roy Hill in late 2021 provided site-based exposure to production and drill and blast engineering on a large-scale iron ore project, where Terry focused on the integration of autonomous trucks. Additional experience includes volunteering at the Australian Centre for Geomechanics and a vacation position at Westgold Resources Limited. Terry holds a Master's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering, both from The University of Western Australia.
