Brad Ewin

Brad Ewin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Brad began their career in 2012 as a Mechanical Engineer at Leighton Contractors, where they held short-term contracts and was responsible for planning, compliance, purchasing, cost tracking, and technical drawings. In 2014, they returned to Leighton Contractors as a Mechanical Engineer for a brief period.

In 2015, Brad worked as a Business Process Management Consultant at Appian Corporation. Brad then pursued freelance and part-time work as a Consultant, providing consulting services until 2017.

In 2016, Brad joined Canterbury Christ Church University as a Project Support, where they provided support for various projects until 2017.

From 2017 to 2019, Brad worked at Chaser, a fintech startup. Brad initially served as a Marketing Executive, where they developed marketing strategies and built out the company's content marketing function. Later, they became the Content & Design Lead, responsible for leading various marketing activities such as content creation, social media, email marketing, co-marketing campaigns, marketing material design, editing, website optimization, lead generation, event planning, PPC ads, and analytics.

Brad joined GoCardless in 2019 as a Content Writer, creating website and in-product content. Brad then progressed to Senior Writer before assuming the role of Content Lead (Acquisition & Brand). In this role, they contributed to the integration and relaunch of the GoCardless Bank Account Data product while designing website content that compared GoCardless with a competitor.

Brad Ewin attended The University of Queensland from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree (honours) in Mechanical Engineering.
